Jubiläum: 5 Jahre!
The Swiss Seed Exchange opened its doors for the first time in the spring of 2021. Since then, we’ve had the opportunity to distribute seeds in many different locations, develop installations and performances, and meet many dedicated people.
We’d like to celebrate this with a special series of events at our headquarters in the vault of the former Swiss Volksbank at Gerbergasse 30.
Inside the vault, you’ll find an exhibition of selected plant seeds. Take a look at the variety of shapes, learn about cultivation, and take home seeds you can sow right away. Bildung Brent : Organizing strikes and protests at universities
On the 9th of April, student organizers from Lausanne (UNIL) are coming to Basel to share their experiences with us. Last autumn and winter, they took part in the organization of big protests, occupations and strikes at the university of Lausanne as part of the cantonal strike movement in Vaud against cuts in the public services sector. The students will give us an input and later we will discuss together how we can build strong student movements against the national austerity plans.🔥

You’re welcome even if you don’t have your own seeds or seedlings—a small selection will also be available on-site.
