Once per month we temporarily reclaim public space on our bicycles. We show that there are more sensible transport options than motorised private transport.

The Critical Mass is a peaceful event.

The Critical Mass has no organiser. When the critical mass is reached at the agreed meeting point, it sets off. There is no predetermined route. Whoever rides in the front determines the direction.

The Critical Mass takes place every last Friday of the month. We meet at 18:30 on Petersplatz (near the Kollegienhaus) in Basel.
