Exhibition

What is the Sisterhood Exhibition?
The Sisterhood Exhibition is a multimedia traveling exhibition that aims to make Flinta* visible in graffiti, connect them, and highlight the challenges and experiences of female sprayers, photographers, and scientists. The Sisterhood Collective has been working on this exhibition for over four years. Always low budget, DIY, and without much funding. Since summer 2024, the exhibition has finally been touring German-speaking countries.
At its heart are streamable mini-videos in which nearly 40 Flinta*, either as individuals or crews, have their say and talk about their passion. The focus is not per se on them as Flinta*, but on their experiences, visions for the future, and their path to graffiti. The responses have resulted in a unique contemporary record of various female writers, photographers, and scientists.
In addition to the approximately 5-10 minute mini-videos, which can be streamed to a cell phone via a QR code and viewed with headphones, there is also a photo collage, quotes, and an introductory historical section for each person or group.

Important: How the interviewees present themselves is up to them, and we do not claim to speak for all Flinta* in graffiti with this small selection.
