DJ Shalaby hat ägyptische und europäische Wurzeln. Als Musiker und Produzent war sein größter Einfluss schon immer die afrikanische Musik. Als DJ legt er seit vielen Jahren regelmäßig international auf. Er ist DJ-Mitglied von Radio Olisipio in Lissabon.
