Être Peintre is the musical project of multidisciplinary artist Nelson Schaub. The plasticity of their music, mostly based on vocal samples, is tied to a universe of fanfiction inspired by both pop culture and video games. Lara Fabian, Green Day, Britney Spears, Mario and Link all cross paths and sing together.

just some girl floating around in the digicore / hyperpop subcultures, trying to make music from their bedroom. she’s been making music for a long time, and makes music inspired by niche online celebrities like underscores, SATOH, Alice Longyu Gao and a lot more for about a year now; while trying to combine it with a lot of visual elements that look like they were circling the internet for a few years already :3
