We invite the Basel OFF scene, its protagonists and friends, as well as the general public, to celebrate the start of the ∑ SUMME Biennale at KASKO with us, to network and enjoy the evening together.
We will give an insight into the rich SUMME program for March 2025, tips for guided tours and look forward to the performance by Barbara Naegelin, the concert by svmthoX, as well as the DJ set by LaPutz that invites you to dance and linger.

Barbara Naegelin
Barbara Naegelin lives and works in Basel mainly in the fields of video, audio, performance and music, usually in combination. She does this alone or together with other artists, e.g. with Eliane Rutishauer, Les Reines Prochaines, Butch&Baumann, David Kerman, etc. In recent years, she has also created interdisciplinary projects such as exhibition happenings, audio tours, film music and a theater project.

svmthoX
svmthoX - A voice for all those who have been silenced. Since 2020, the multi-lingustress and vocal wonder svmthoX has been addressing both personal and social issues with her music. With her energetic stage presence and profound lyrics, she has earned herself a permanent place in the Swiss hip-hop scene.
Over the course of her career, she has performed as a support act for renowned artists such as Slum
Village, KT Gorique and Planet Asia and has worked with artists such as Samora, Skinny Fresh, dudette, UNIFINITY and Adrian Sieber, among others.
She continues to impressively demonstrate her artistic range.

LaPutz
Cleaning lady by day, legendary DJ* by night. LaPutz is a Basel legend who, in addition to her musical activities, is also a socio-activist. In her sets, she reflects the last 30 years of pain, drama hype and pop mania and invites people to unload themselves with music and dance.
