Consuela del Valle Grande is back! This time, the fictional character meets the revolutionary leader Ernesto Che Guevara and confronts him. The icon of resistance against oppression and exploitation is appropriated, transformed and picked apart. With dilentantismo profesional and lots of music, Consuela sets out in search of a different kind of rebellion: feminist and self-empowering, powerful and tender. In the remix of past and present, of myth and merch, the hope for a “soft revolution” emerges.
Also: On both performance days at 19:30 Warm Up, Consuela's Partners in Crime give an input to join in on the studio stage.
Wednesday: Charles Wrapner
