14. Juni
Heraus zum 14. Juni - hinein in den revolutionären Block
We can stand up for our rights, we can demand more pay and respect, and we can dream of an end to patriarchal violence.
But only within the framework set by the system that oppresses us. We are allowed to be feminist until we name and begin to fight what really harms us - and what benefits them.
They dictate what our fight should look like: very well-behaved, friendly - and only one day a year, please.
Otherwise it could come to light that our politicians' promises are empty and that our system is geared towards profits.
After all, millions in profit can only be generated if people are exploited for it - which in our society mostly concerns FINTAs who look after the children, run the household and care for relatives for free on the side.
Far too many people are still affected by patriarchal violence - by poverty through wage inequality, by the systematic devaluation of their existence. And far too little is being done to change this:
There are still far too few women's shelters in Switzerland to effectively protect women* affected by violence. Sexualised violence is rarely talked about openly and it is still difficult for those affected to report assaults - whether due to a lack of support, social stigmatisation or institutional failure.
We will not wait any longer, we will not be quiet, we will not conform.
Let's take the streets on 14 June - the way we must take them and the way we deserve them.
Together we are loud, uncomfortable and determined.
We fight against patriarchy, capitalism and all systems based on exploitation, oppression and inequality.
We are fighting for a world in which we can live freely - in solidarity, respected and without fear.
