A touching and powerful film about the contradiction between ownership and justice, privilege and responsibility - and the challenging processes behind a farm handover.

Before the film, there will be an input from Sophie Hodel from the Anlaufstelle für ausserfamiliäre Hofübergabe: Every year, around 500 Swiss farms close their doors for good. In the last 25 years, around a third of farms have disappeared, although many young farmers and agricultural collectives often spend years looking for a farm - what are the reasons for this and what are the consequences of this structural change in agriculture?
