Ten years ago, the houses on Wasserstrasse were officially handed over under a contract. Since then, they have been organized and restored by the residents themselves. The fact that the demolition of the houses was prevented and the city was forced to hand them over is the result of a years-long fight for the houses—led and shaped by the residents and many others from the neighborhood and the city.
