1. September
Concert: PEB (DE) - Market Saturée (TR) - Rim H (TN)
RUBBER COMMUNE X BAS RÉSEAU brings the noisy rawness of below-ground-floor scream, sweat and love to Hirschi. Berlin-industrial grind duo PΞB and Basel-grindcore MARKET SATURÉE meet at Hirscheneck, Basel on the 1st of September, followed by the DJ set by Rim H.
A raw annihilation to the lunar plexus, the Berlin-based duo of Ilia Gorovitz and Asja Skrinik is a relentless fusion of industrial, punk, noise rock, and metal, crafted with the precision of a sonic weapon. Gorovitz's ruthless drumming anchors Skrinik's aggressive shrieks and guttural vocalisations, riding on dissonant layers of droning soundscapes, mechanical hums, and shattered metallic crashes and alternating between fierce outbreaks and moments of eerie, atmospheric build-ups; a sojourn through industrial wastelands with the septic beauty of a rusty oil sheen.
Market Saturée is a three-piece powerviolence/grindcore band from Basel, Switzerland, with members from Turkey and France. The band was founded in 2024 by Eren on guitar and vocals, Léo-Pol on bass, and Mehmet on drums in Basel. Market Saturée has toured around Europe, the Balkans, and Turkey with their first EP "s/t". Their set is constructed around short-duration, start-and-stop powerviolence to grindcore structures and hardcore beatdowns, maintaining a stance of loudness and youthful pessimism. Their 12-minute second album will be released in the summer of 2026.
Rim Harrabi is a Tunisian artist, filmmaker and cultural practitioner, currently based in Basel. She is also a curator of music compilations and radio shows (Radio Sygma, Radio Flouka). She co-founded Transmitting Stones, a platform facilitating musical exchange between Tunisia, Algeria, and Switzerland, and Erratic Boulders, a Basel-based sound art association. Her DJ sets mix tapes and digital sounds, blending field recordings, sound archives, cassettes and non-Western heavy electronic and traditional sounds, weaving together a sonic rhythmic narrative.
