We are gathering on Friday 27 March to raise emergency funds for local organisations and collectives in Lebanon that are supporting displaced individuals, families, and migrant workers in Beirut and Chouf areas.

For more than two weeks, Lebanon has been under constant attacks from Israel with the help of the Western empire of death. Nearly one million has been displaced within a week.

Since a decade, this Western colonial machine has been committing genocide and atrocities across Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iran, Iraq and beyond. The result has been unimaginable displacement, death, destruction, long term diseases, war trauma, and environmental catastrophy.

We are gathering, not to party – but to grieve, be together and act in solidarity.

Drinks, food and generous artworks by @hgkbasel_institutkunst students and Basel-based artists will be available on site.
All benefits will go directly to @ma3ba3ed and @egnalegna to provide mattresses, blankets, food, shelter support, hygiene products, menstrual products, medicine, etc.

The event is pay-what-you-can, with a suggested minimum donation of 15 CHF.
