with acts from berlin (formerly canada), poland / zurich, glasgow (formerly texas), and local art handlers from basel and across switzerland.
art handlers are usually known as calm, pragmatic people — often with jamiroquai in their ears. with this evening, we want to highlight a different side of the profession: those who handle fragile artworks with the same care they bring to feedback, contact microphones, and sonic experimentation.

Kumbia Ambassadors
Kumbia Ambassadors ist eine experimentelle Cumbia-Punk-Band aus Chile, die von ehemaligen Mitgliedern der Band Anarkia Tropikal – Christian Peña, Ricardo Troncoso und Ignacio Weiss – gegründet wurde.
Ihre Musik ist ebenso unbeschreiblich wie unberechenbar und verbindet die Fröhlichkeit der Cumbia, die Intensität des Punk und alle möglichen elektronischen Einflüsse – verpackt in energiegeladenen Shows, bei denen nonstop Tanzen das oberste Gebot ist.
Mit einem Debütalbum, das live in Berlin im Nachtclub „Sysiphos“ aufgenommen wurde, und fast 100 Live-Auftritten in Deutschland, österreich, Spanien, Tschechien, Großbritannien, der Schweiz, Polen und Chile haben sich die Kumbia Ambassadors in nur zwei Jahren seit ihrer Gründung in einen Namen gemacht.
