WORKSHOP Emerging Sound Disorders
On Saturday, Audiostellar will host a hands-on workshop. Participants will have the unique opportunity to experimet with the AI-driven sound plug-in developed and used by the collective, alongside other tools connecting movement, sound, and visuals that were used in the performance.
The event will be held in English with the exception of Spanish excerpts

Since November 2024, new resistance in the form of hunger strikes has been steadily forming in the deportation prisons of Zurich and Basel. The inmates are fighting back against daily violence and harassment by guards, poor food, inadequate hygiene, and medical care. The deportation prison is just one of many facets of Switzerland's inhumane asylum regime.
With this film series, we try to take a look at other aspects of the torture that many people have to endure in order to have a supposedly "safe life in Switzerland."
Today: Special Flight (2011) - Fernand Melgar
In Switzerland, more than 200,000 undocumented migrants risk being detained and then sent home on a special flight. To better understand what is at stake in these forced relocations and the conditions under which they take place, Fernand Melgar immersed himself in the Frambois administrative detention center in Geneva.
